Interrogating Presidential Candidates

In my new PJ Media column, I make the obvious point: Shouldn’t we subject presidential candidates to enhanced interrogation techniques to get the truth out of them?

A dishonest man who deals in half-truths and whose true plans and motivations aren’t known is about to get his hands on nuclear weapons. I’m speaking, of course, of the scenario for every U.S. presidential election for the past several decades.

So what questions would you have the CIA force the presidential candidates to answer?

  1. I strongly believe we should find the one man/woman in the US that doesn’t want the job and give it to him/her, with the proviso that the only way they can get out is to do what’s good for the country. If the economy’s good, we’re not at war with anyone (unless they attack us or our allies-or threaten our way of life in a tangible way) and things are moving along nicely they can get out after they’re first turn. If not they stay in until we either take them out or they figure out a way to fix it. That goes for Congress as well. Turn public service into a prison for political candidates instead of a hotel for graft, corruption, influence and greed. Sort of like the Soviet Union except we’re in charge of the politicos not them in charge of us.

It may be an idea who’s time has come.

  2. CIA: “Have you ever eaten dog meat?”
    Obama: “Of course not!”
CIA: “It says right here in your book that you did. Your words.”
Obama: “But ut ut ut bu bu bu ut ut ut.”
    CIA: ” You’re lying. NEXT!”

That would have eliminated The One.
