I noticed the audience didn’t like this one as much as some of the other Obama zingers Leno has told lately.
The audience may not even be aware, having received all their knowledge from Candy.
That’s why I switched to Leno over Letterman many years ago. He claims to be independent (yeah sure) and he will jab both sides. Maybe not as often as I’d prefer, but at least he’s not drooling all over Bambi like the others. Craig Ferguson’s pretty good too, if you have a juvenile sense of humor (which I do).
