So “the most important election of our lifetime”, already happened, the rest is rearranging deck chairs on the deck of the Titanic, ok?
There is now a chance for a rearrangement that will please me for a while, in that the party who has been telling me to hold my nose and vote for their loser is probably going to have to do the same themselves, and I think that’s a good thing. What comes of it certainly isn’t going to be worse than what we have now. I’m not sure there is any “better” available, and either way, we haven’t chosen it.
