This might be an idea whose time has come: Nearly two-thirds of Americans are in favor of free college for everyone, and about three-quarters think at least some people should be eligible for free college, a new survey shows.
In other news, the fact that 2/3 of the population are morons who don’t understand that there’s no such thing as “free” anything proves that they didn’t learn anything from all that “free” school they already got so sending them to 4…6…8…12…47 years more won’t help.

If this were to become law, they couldn’t limit the benefit to just college-age persons, right? Students come in all ages, as we know. Therefore, it might translate into essentially a four-year taxpayer-paid vacation for any citizen.
Would they have the right to deny the cash value of this education right to those who choose to spend the money on, say, alternative educations? Who defines what’s an education? John Roberts? It could mean anything. You might get that Corvette yet.

It galls me that the word “Right” is used here. It makes a mockery of the word for if taken at face value it means that one person can kill an unborn child with impunity. Is this truly a “Right”? I would be willing to accept that you have granted the privilege to someone to determine if another lives or dies, barely, but a “right”? It takes liberals to totally bastardize a language.
Liberals would prefer that you didn’t use that…word when referring to their reproductive choices and what they tend to result in when they need (more) money.
I would be content if they would just pay for their own “Choice”.
End of the Republic when taking money or property from one group and giving it to another group is a “right”.
