Federal officials in New York are investigating an emergency alert system after a mistakenly truncated message about storm system Hermine wrongly advised TV watchers on Long Island of an ordered evacuation.

Based on recent incompetence in government run programs, to include the VA,IRS,SSA.TSA, etc., etc. I assume the people at the very top of the Emergency Management for the area can expect a whopping huge bonus from taxpayer money.
