I wish I had a mini skirt story to share, but I don’t. Maybe if I wore one more often, I’d have something to tell.
Hats
I’m already there.
Men dressing like men.
I wear a jacket and tie all the time. Even when I work remote from home, I’m wearing my tie, and put my jacket on when I go outside. And, a hat. I have some Fedoras, Bowlers, and a Panama Hat (but Fedora style) that I wear when I go outside.
I get asked a lot if I’m not uncomfortable. But, I’d rather look like a grown man. I ought to tell them that. I just say “I’m more comfortable wearing it.”
Of course, if it’s really hot and I’m outside a lot — think Disney World — I will dress more casual. But when I go anywhere, I do want to dress proper and not look like I’m about to ask for a dollar.
I on the other hand have no problem with that. When I go out it’s like…”Yo, hey you….dude with the hat, ya gotta dollar?! I need the money to buy a hat!”
