Twitter has suspended conservative actor James Woods for posting a picture that mocks male feminists.
How could they file complaints? They’d have to hit the send button, and I’m pretty sure that counts as violence. #KeyboardToo

Twitter’s lame excuse was that his post “could affect the outcome of an election.”
Well, that applies to every anti-Democrat comment anyone posts.
(Anti-conservative ones they conveniently ignore and publish.)
“Could affect the outcome of an election” is such a meaningless statement. As Oppo points out, and what anyone with a functioning brain can figure out, the whole point of public debate IS to influence an election. To change someone’s mind on how to vote. To encourage someone to vote for someone in particular. To defend a cause, promote an idea or to simply raise awareness. To ban speech which “May” influence an election is to choose a side you want and end the debate. You aren’t a “Public” platform anymore in doing that, you are a private society with membership rules. In Twitter’s case rule number 1 is “No Conservatives need apply”.
