Last Man in California To Question Overlords Located by Journalists

California air quality officials released a bold climate plan Wednesday that outlines in broad strokes how the state intends to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions by the end of the decade and eventually eliminate its carbon footprint.

Danny Cullenward, policy director of CarbonPlan, a California nonprofit that analyzes climate solutions, said he was struck by the plan’s “level of abstraction” and “tangential relationship” to practical reality. “There certainly isn’t a lot of guidance as to which programs need to be tuned up, which ones need to be started and who needs to do what,” Cullenward said.
