Philosophical Question of the Day:
😲
Do you think that people can sense — stipulated: without seeing the person, that is — when they are being gazed at?
I do. And what’s weird to me is — although I recognize the feeling — I can’t actually identify a time when it has actually happened to me. That’s probably explainable. I just naturally empathize with people who have experienced it. . . . I think it exists, but I don’t believe it exists.
Everyone gazes at me ’cause I’m too sexy for my shirt. Too sexy for my shirt.
Had a Sergeant for a few years, a real piece of work. Would be assigned to footpatrol and you were responsible to check every business door on your beat at least once during the night. It got so you could sense something wrong, you look and the Sergeant would be three blocks away, skulking… I believe there is something you can sense..
One of my favorite ways to kill time when I worked at the grocery store was to coordinate a group gaze at one unsuspecting person. It would only take a few seconds before they got uncomfortable and squirmy, and a few more before they noticed everybody staring at them. Goods times. So yes, I think it’s real.
Also, pretty sure my wife has psychic powers. It’s not to my benefit.
