Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, ronin! I vow that 2008 will be IMAO’s best year ever!
I vow it!
What are you looking forward to this year? I’m looking forward to the suffering of my enemies. 2008 will be the year they will finally meet my wrath! Pity them.
Who am I kidding; I don’t have any enemies. I wish I had some, and I really could use an arch-nemesis. That would be awesome. 2008 will be the year I get an arch-nemesis! And he will suffer my wrath for the inequities he will eventually unleash upon me!
Then again, an arch-nemesis sounds like a bit of a time commitment. I think I’ll just punch a hippie.

  1. Happy New Year, but I disagree on this being your best year ever. I think that will be 2009 when President Elect Fred Thompson is sworn in and as his first order of business, has Ted Kennedy arrested for the rape and murder of Mary Jo Kopeckne.
And that is within the first five minutes of taking office. 🙂

  2. I’m willing to be your arch-nemesis. What’s the salary? Are there holidays and vacations? How about travel expenses? Who is liable for all of the destroyed property and ruined lives that are likely to happen from our battles? Do I get a complimentary Christmas turkey?
We’ve got some serious negotiations ahead of us before we kick off this nemesis business.

  3. Happy New Year, everyone! (Love the seasonal logo!)
I look forward to November 4th when we elect Fred Dalton Thompson as the 44th president of these United States.
I hope that all would walk with the Lord this year.
ochagirl I’ll pray for your Dad, of course. Keep us posted about what’s going on.

  4. AR-
Look pal, it’s not like yours is the only demise I’m planning. And do you have any idea how hard it is to do evil during the holiday season? No one’s freakin’ home! I can’t tell ya how much time and money I’ve wasted so far on devious plans, only to find out on D-1 that the target’s off visiting his parents. And with gas prices being what they are, I ain’t about to chase anyone up to Utica or wherever the hell they grew up…
Are you free on Groundhog Day? I’ve always wanted to do an “if you see your shadow- it’s me” kinda hit.
    Watch your back. Bwahahahahaha…

  5. I’m looking forward to moving to Iowa (seriously; I won’t be Silicon Valley Jim any more).
I’m looking forward to doing lots of bicycling, listening to lots of good music, baking lots of good bread, and gardening.
I’m looking forward to lots of funny stuff from the bloggers and commenters here at IMAO.

  6. Happy New Year Frank!!!!
Geez, today I just wanted watch the Rose Parade…what do I see Ron Paul signs, Impeach Bush sign, 9/11 was an Inside Job signs…and Cindy shehan…. well isn’t it nice for the little children on the Parade Route! Too bad the moon bats and Ron Paul idiots will not let kids just enjoy the floats!! God please give Paul an illness that keeps it at home for 5 yrs…like incurable TB!!!

  7. Happy New Year to all at IMAO and its readers.
As 2007 ended a new life began. My sister gave birth to a healthy boy yesterday morning. I’d like to welcome into the world, Brendan Corbett Barth. A world with him and Fred Thompson in it is a good thing. May G-d bless Brendan. Oh I read to Brendan the last IMAO posts so he is caught up.
    all the best for 2008!

  8. I nominate Keith Olbermann as your arch-nemesis frank. While his insipid rants boil my blood, i feel he is a rich source of humor for the upcoming year. He reminds me of a communist agitator of the 50’s, all rhetoric and passion, and no substance.

  9. CochinoMarrano,
Since they include Democrats, wouldn’t it be “Hear the lamentations of their men”? They can get pretty whiney.
    Frank,
Good luck with the arch nemesis thing. Starfish and Mucinex are pretty poor substitutes – missing backbones and being slow slimy bottom suckers and all.
Best Wishes to you all for a great New Year!

  10. Happy New Year to all fellow IMAO-ers!
Ochagirl, your father is in my prayers. I never turn down a legitimate request for prayer.
Ceann rua, congrats on the new addition – I just got a nephew in October as well!
Frank J., may 2008 bless you with an arch-nemesis and many other good things.
My wish is for Hillary to fall on her face. I mean that literally… I think it would be funny to see.
    Yay 2008!
