A New Jersey State Police spokesman said not a single large-capacity magazine has been turned in since a law banning them went into effect nearly nine months ago.
I suppose they could try to come take them, but then they’d be empty and smelling of burnt gunpowder.

If the law had said “let’s turn all magazines into plowshares” it would have worked.
“Those who beat their swords into plowshares usually end up plowing for those who didn’t.”
Benjamin Franklin
Well they still got 3 months to go for a whole year to pass.
My large capacity magazines fell out of my canoe while I was on a fishing trip, and that may be what happened to my semi-auto depending on what kind of gun grabbing laws the Democrats pass once they are in control of the government.
Well guns do have their own minds and act on their own accord all the time. Who knows when they want to take a swim?
…and, buried beneath piles of spent brass.
Much to my surprise.
