I don’t believe that government can or should run health care. But I also don’t think insurance companies should have free reign to do as they please.

Why not compromise at have the government run a competing health insurance provider for anyone that wants to sign up with them and have it compete with private companies in the market place? One catch, they have to show a profit to stay open. Can only be a dollar, but they have to run it profitably.
