Is that a 12-gauge revolver shotgun, or something even larger?
I ask because when Googling “12-gauge revolver” I see lots of guns which frankly seem to have much smaller chambers. I wonder if it is a 6, 8, or 10 gauge elephant gun or the like…
I’ve never personally seen anything below 8 gauge, although Wikipedia assures me they exist. Here’s a thought: a 12-gauge throws 1.333 ounces of shot, while a 1-gauge throws 16 ounces, i.e. a whole pound at a time. For when you absolutely, positively, need to clear the room.
