Overreaching

Perhaps this stimulus fiasco will help Obama realize that people only voted for the abstract concept of Barack Obama. It wasn’t a mandate for his policies because no one knew or cared to know what they were. Thus you have a new president with a huge approval rating and no support for anything he wants to do.

I probably could have been president if I changed my name and ran as: “The Anti-Bush”

  2. DamnCat says:

How is he going to lower the oceans and heal the planet when he can’t even successfully rip-off taxpayers to reward His disciples?

    The crummiest messiah ever!

  3. Idaho Spud says:

What should your President Obama be condemned for? His crime of “Dreaming Big”? His goals of restoring the U. S. to it’s former position of world leadership and at the SAME time transforming government into a truly functional entity is praisworthy.

For the first time we have someone who is committed to making government responsive to the people and becoming a respectful servant. In other words, your president Obama envisions that, figuritively speaking, “The trains will run on time”.

Is it so wrong for the man to want nothing more than every citizen to have all they could wish for and end the hopelessness that millions face daily? If the energy being spent critisizing and being negative and obstructive to your President Obamas policies were directed in pulling together and moving forward we could fulfill his dreams and have new ones for ourselves. When everyone rows in opposite directions a boat flounders.

To paraphrase, “Ask not what Obama can do for you, instead, ask what can I do for Obama”. The peace and serenity from working as a team will be your reward!

I’m confused, is #3 parody or just a real liberal nut-job?

  5. Master Shake says:

The lefties have gone so far past the brink of sanity already, it’s become impossible to tell anymore….

I think it’s a parody. Spud is “one of us”.

Well, to be honest, I’m one of the few that willingly voted for the new Stimulus Fiasco. That’s only because I thought it was the name of Chevrolet’s new concept car.

  8. ussjimmycarter says:

Spud, do they have your nads wired to a light socket? Don’t talk, just tap out some morse code and we will come get you buddy!

  9. Cactusod says:

Reading Spud’s missive made me feel ashamed for my cyniscism and disgust about Lord Mobama.

I’m going to stop shooting squirrels, begin buying carbon credits from Big Al for my profligate energy abuse, go to confession, and drink the Kool-Aid. I’ve changed.

    NOT!

Barney Frank just announced that they are going to extend the compensation limits to all companies. We didn’t get a Harumpf out of that guy…

  11. Mitch Rapp says:

The Mutt dropped 20 points in popularity, from 83% to 63% during his first 12 days in office! Next week, I predict his approval rating will be below 60%.

He is setting himself up to be a failed president because the same ignorant masses that put him in office expect to see immediate results of spending nearly $1 trillion. They don’t realize that you can’t spend nearly $1 trillion instantly, and the programs that will see that money will actually do very little to stimulate the economy. We the people are about to piss away $900+ billion.

Watch closely because we are witnessing a president fall on his face and it’s not going to be pretty when he lands.

    Timber!!!

Apparently, Barney Frank and company don’t remember Nixon’s attempt at freezing wages and prices. So, some in Congress are hoisting this up the flag pole to see if anyone salutes it?? With the “politics of envy” in full swing, it’s time to separate the men from the boys, I guess.

It’s not even funny, any more. How do we make light of this crap? Is it just me, or is the era of throat-slitting rapidly approaching?

  13. innominatus says:

Obama, as Citizen of the World, should have run for president of Russia or some euroweiner country where the president is largely symbolic and the PM does the heavy lifting… Umm, why the arched-eyebrow quizzical looks from all of you? Are you implying that Obeyme is already just a no-leadership-figurehead and that somebody else is pulling the strings?

The glory of The Spud is his ’sincerity’. You could post that on dKos and it would be, like, Diary of the Month with thousands of laudatory comments below, and the dolts wouldn’t even realize they’re being played.

A new Chancellor had that problem, in 1933. Didn’t take him long to figure things out.

    Spud,
Thank you , the tingle is back.
if borrowing a Billion Dollars per page of this crap sandwich Dreaming BIG is wrong, who would want to be right.

  24. seanmahair says:

Way too intellectual for the likes of Obama suppoters. All they need to hear is “We’ll take care of you” and they hop on board.

Occasionally I wonder why people whose ancestors fought so hard for freedom and equality are so willing to sell themselves back to the very people who sought to continue the inhuman practice of slavery. For that is what socialism is “serfdom (slavery)” to the state. Dress it up, make it look different but lack of freedom of choice has been and always will be slavery.

The father of lies knows that, hence the reason men and women of no integrity are proponents of it. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to recognize this.

But then again thinking is not what O’vomit supports excel at. It’s all about “feelings”.

That article you linked to scares me. It scares me because I had no hope before I read the article. Now I see there are at least a couple of adults in the senate. I have irrational hope that they will save us from BHO’s minions. Not much hope. Just a tiny bit. A tiny bit of hope in the face of humongous evil is scary. Scary like an evil monkey intent on eating your eyeballs, turning them into poo, and flinging them back at you.

I have been referring to the national socialist (hi ghost!) in the White House as BHO for a while now. I pronounced it “bee hoe” in a marginally humorous attempt to give his name some street cred, but I think I have to stop using it altogether. Your moniker (O’vomit) is so much funnier and more apt than mine, that I am too embarrassed to keep using it. Well done.
