Here’s an update on Andrea Clark. It’s nice to see this isn’t a partisan issue.
UPDATE: It’s taken a turn for the worst since St. Luke’s suddenly reneged on taking Andrea. John Hawkins is trying to get more details.

Amazing to see what happens when people set aside differences and work together.
See sometimes we all can get along. Who’d a thunk it. God bless you Andrea.
I’m glad.
Good grief!
from the page:
St. Luke’s told the family the move was off. It seems that St. Luke’s decided at the last minute that Glenshire Nursing & Rehab Centre in Illinois isn’t equipped to care for Andrea, which is a bit puzzling, since Lanore told me they helped set up the transfer in the first place.
[end]
So St. Lukes does not think that the facility in Illinios is not ‘equipped’ to care for Andreas life, but St Lukes who wants to pull the plug is better ‘equipped’ for her care. This logic would be laughable if the consequences were not so dire.
Best Regards, CHOW
As we all know, St. Luke was the patron saint of being a total dick, showing no mercy to the ill, and making their families suffer as they watch their loved one die.
Oh, and a big middle-fingered salute and four-letter shout out to my fellow Houstonians in the Med Center!
