Obama’s book’s title, The Audacity of Hope, came from a sermon of his pastor Jeremiah Wright. I guess he chose another sermon of Wright to base his book on, it would be called Jesus Hates Honkeys.
The existence of Wright offends me as a Christian, but this is supposed to be who Obama got his spiritual teachings from? In fact, secretly being a Muslim might actually be better than taking this guy’s sermons seriously.
Wow. I wonder if he read the part of the Bible where it says false teachers are judged more harshly than other people. I also wonder why he thinks that Jesus, who was born in Israel to an Israeli woman, was black. I also wonder why he thinks it would matter anyway. I can definitely tell that he totally skipped the forgiveness and perseverance parts of scripture since he thinks slave-owning whitey is to blame for all his hardships.
It’s very popular in some circles (see Dogma for instance) to claim that Jesus was black. Because…. uhhhh…. He’s from near Africa and….uhhhh….. He’s black. Okay?
Just like the ancient Egyptians were black. And Mali had jetfighters in 800BC and… well, you get the idea.

To be honest, I think both would send “Maverick” down in flames. But if I had to choose between Obama and Hillary I’d pick the dark lady. Both would do awful damage. But who do you trust more on foreign policy? Mr. “Get rid of nuclear weapons” or an evil witch?
Mark, that’s called hedging your bet. I trust the country to defeat a blatant socialist Obama before a disguised sell-out-for-money Hillary. If it can’t, we’re gonna flush regardless of who’s President.

If I had my choice between evil and truly evil I’d choose truly evil every time when it comes to dealing with evil doers! Funny, how the race between Hillary and Obama could come down to this perception, ussjc. Personally, I think Hillary would find a way to sell us out to avoid war. She values money above all else. Obama would just let it happen with that unbelievable look on his face and an incredulity to match.
If someone got to Obama and seriously took him aside about what it means to “lead the tribe,” he’d turn right faster than New York taxicab. In which case, he’d make McCain actually look like an old war horse. If he did that, he’d be the first real Democrat since… John F. Kennedy, Henry Jackson, Joe Lieberman and a few others.

When I first saw the title of that book you referenced, Frank, I thought it said “Jesus Hates Monkeys,” to which I thought “Well, right on, Jesus!” Everyone (who reads imao.us) knows that monkeys are the root of all evil. When my vision cleared and I saw the actual title, I was a little disappointed. But I’ll bet Jesus really does hate monkeys. It’s just that nobody is writing a book about it.
