Did a radio interview. Think I’m better on TV; it’s much funnier when I freeze up if you can see my facial expression.
Buttercup laughing is the greatest sound in the entire universe.
You know, if we conquer all other countries, we don’t have to pay our debt back to them. It’s possibly a cheaper option.
We don’t like interfering in other countries. We also don’t like sitting back while people are being murdered. Way it is.
Notice my policy seems to be if I don’t have anything funny to say, I don’t say anything at all. Anyway, hard to comprehend scope of what’s going on in Japan. Can just pray.
In celebration of Pi Day, I made a pie whose circumference is equal to its diameter times pi. It turned out horribly.
I’ve had the privilege of raising four kids. It is truly a labor of love, and the sound of their laugh is magical. However, the greatest sound in the entire universe is Nancy Pelosi shrieking in horror as she melts into a pool of watery moose dung after Fred Thompson throws a bucket of water on her. Followed, of course, by a chorus of small children laughing at her.
dπ? Not πr²? No wonder. That’s like making a ruhbarb pie…just ain’t natural!
Someday Buttercup will do a search for her name in IMAO and be able to read Frank’s and everyone else’s comments going back to before she was born.
Will she be embarrassed, horrified, creeped out, touched, or all of the above?
It’s dependent on the comment’s writer DamnCat. If it’s from me, she’ll feel like she got a birthday card from the Dos Equis man . If Ussjc wrote it, she’ll puke.
I thought you were alive for Reagan?
We don’t like interfering in other countries. We also don’t like sitting back while people are being murdered. Way it is.
1)That should be in marble over the State Department, and on the gate of every U.S. Embassy. Way it is.
2)Throw in an audio loop of Buttercup laughing
3)World peace.
–
I blame my circumference on pie.
Huh? Cornbread r square. Pie r round.
There is not much funny about Japan because the death toll is so high. Compare it to the deaths in Iraq and Katrina youll see. Anyway this old 2007 onion is kinda relevant/funny

Everything I know about Pi I learned in kindergarten. And would you like fries with that pie?
“Notice my policy seems to be if I don’t have anything funny to say, I don’t say anything at all. Anyway, hard to comprehend scope of what’s going on in Japan. Can just pray.”
Yeah, the videos of the quake and tsunami are horrifying. Thrown in reactor meltdowns and the people of Japan are in real need of some miracles. I pray for them too.
“Someday Buttercup will do a search for her name in IMAO and be able to read Frank’s and everyone else’s comments going back to before she was born.”
I think she’ll be happy with them. She’ll see how happy Frank was and how happy we were for him. And she’ll ask who was that Obama person we were all making fun of.
And what was it like when the United States was a world power.
The miracles are starting – people are still being rescued. Did you hear about that 4-month old? That’s a double miracle:
1) the baby was found alive and in reasonable health and
2) was reunited with his father so he has a parent surviving to continue to take care of him
In celebration of National Pi day, Obama continued his ‘Let them Eat Cake’ attitude.
Why are you all so worried Obama has time for all kinds of stuff.

Yeah, I heard of it and was very happy for that family. I just hope we hear many more stories like that. Unfortunately, given the scope of that horrible disaster, the sad stories are probably going to outnumber the miracles.
“Notice my policy seems to be if I don’t have anything funny to say, I don’t say anything at all. Anyway, hard to comprehend scope of what’s going on in Japan. Can just pray.”
But, don’t worry, right now the democrats in our country are hard at work figuring out the best way to make the Japanese tragedy work to their advantage as a political issue.
The only humor in the earthquake is the American media coverage of it. Last night switching channels I had my previously held conclusion confirmed that Buttercup has a far higher IQ than the entire staffs of pmsnbc and CNN combined.
“AIEEEE !!!11!!! Radiation is coming to kill us, one and all !!! Get that famous Science! expert yoko Ono to explain. I’m series !!!11!!”
We don’tDemocrats like interfering in other countries until the going gets rough. Then theyWe also don’tlike sitting back while people are being murdered. Way it is. (fixed it for me)Wouldn’t it be easier and cheaper (although less palatable) to take over the Democrats?
I made a pie whose volume was equal to the square of its radius times pi times its depth.
Mine didn’t turn out much better.
You have a good policy regarding Japan. Take my word for it, best you don’t try to crack wise about their current situation…Gilbert Gottfried, no longer a duck.
So, where do we download this radio interview, Frank?
We’re C U R I O U S .
Shoot I want to know when he did a TV interview. A little movie magic and I could make a great clip. Anyone know where I could get ahold of the hinted at TV interview?
Buttercup laughs……..Peace breaks out within the sound of it……Now if only there was an engineer that could amplify that laugh throughout the Universe……
Buttercups laughs……Winning!
Buttercup laughs, Unicorn farts, Phoenix tears, Tiger blood, Adonis’ DNA…… all Mythical elixers to cure what ails you.
Solution to our owing foreign countries Trillions: Just print Trillion dollar bills, hand them out to all our debtors, and tell them to not spend it all in one place. If they give us any guff, we can say, “What? FDR and Nixon took us off the Gold Standard, talk to them.”
Buttercup laughing is the greatest sound in the entire Universe. Way it is.
We also don’t like sitting back while people are being murdered……. U.S. cities in need of intervention: St. Louis MO, Oakland CA, Irvington NJ, Flint MI, Detroit MI, Camden NJ, Chicago IL, Gary IN, Newark NJ, Baltimore MD, Richmond CA, Memphis TN…….Way It Is.
Notice the orderliness of society in Japan after 9.0 earthquake/Tsunami/Nuclear Reactor Meltdown/Etc…., with the chaos of ‘society’ in New Orleans after Katrina.
Way It Is
You know, if we conquer all other countries, we don’t have to pay our debt back to them. It’s possibly a cheaper option.
Careful with that, Frank. We’re not the first country in the history of the world to weigh those options. Just sayin’.
My friends, a married couple, emailed the following from Japan (Ron was in the WTC on 9/11 and his wife was raised in Japan):
“Thank you for your consideration. Me and Ron are fine in Tokyo.
TV news is showing most horrific scenery from the earthquake, Tokyo is
getting back to Normal, we have electricity, water, transportation
system, everything getting back. Some traffic and delay, but not major
problem.
When the earthquake was happened , we were in a cab. We just arrived
at Tokyo from Mt.Fuji Area.
The car was bouncing as if we were on a trampoline. The trees were
swaying. So are signals, buildings.
After it became calm, the cab driver started car again and we arrived the hotel.
But we couldn’t go in to the building , every one escaped to the park
and athlete fields at the high school.
We all know after first shaking, we expected another shaking soon. We
were also afraid of all the window glasses might be broken and
Fallen.
Thousands people came out from the buildings. We saw some smokes in
the city. Ron said, “it is just like 911”.
After few shaking, the civil force announced us that we are safe to go
back to the buildings.
But we waited another hour, because Ron said the people who obeyed the
announcement and went back the tour number 2 in world trade center,
all died.
We went back to the building, but the elevators are not working off course.
We had to spend 4 hours in the ball room in the hotel.
They provided us hot tea and pastries,( actually very good ) no heat
but we had brackets. They set a projector in the room, we were
watching TV news.
While we waiting there, had some more Shakings. As I say we were in
the ball room, so big shandeliers there, it was just like “Phantom the
Opera.”.
Now we are staying the hotel, don’t have any inconvenience, except no
changing seats and towels for few days, their linen laundry factory
was damaged. But not big deal at all.
My family live in Kyoto, which is far from the damaged Area. After Ron
is going back to NY on 15th, I go back to Kyoto.
As Prof.Emily’s friend says, we have had so many fire and earthquake
drill since when we are kids, so I see people are calm enough to have
this situation.
But even we are ok in Tokyo, (I deleted her name),Osaka area though, I see
terrible situation in Fukushima, Ibaragi Area, witch is north of
Tokyo. I feel deep sympathy for the people who are having Hard time.
God bless all of us, again we appreciate for your considerations.”
Have you all noticed that Ed doesn’t show up here anymore?
Frank, that was not spam, that was me quoting my Japanese friend in Tokyo describing the earthquake. If you still have it, could you please put it back on this thread?
Thank you.
