Frank, just judging by MFL’s comments on this forum, liberals have successfully isolated themselves from reality in such a manner that they already LIVE in an alternate universe where that’s the case, so undoubtedly. It must be fun where you can just seize rich peoples’ stuff and redistribute it to yourself with no ill consequences.

I don’t have an answer to this one, and I remember when Doonesbury was actually funny (prior to 1972 or so).
Harvey – I was going to mention that Canada was like a farm team – maybe AAA but possibly AA. They also have the same demographic evolution going on that we do: old-fashioned, conservative, rugged-individualist Canadian versus the soft, gimmie-gimmie, do-gooder, socialist Canadian. And just like here, the conservatives are losing.

…except for the fact that Sarah Palin wouldn’t have been in power, John McCain would. However, if they’re ever interested in doing a side-by-side comparison of VP’s – Sarah Palin vs. Crazy Joe Biden – that, I’d watch.
