Burt Prelutsky used to be a TV writer out in Hollywood.

Now he’s a cranky old guy who hates on liberals and the conservatives who don’t have the spine to stand up to them.

What’s not to love?

For example, his latest:

A FEW MORE REASONS TO SEND OBAMA PACKING

“I sometimes think that Republicans are genetically compelled to bring water pistols to a gun fight. While I acknowledge that it’s difficult to combat the bully pulpit the Left commands, thanks to a corrupt media, I really am sick and tired of hearing Mitch McConnell referring to “Our friends on the other side of the aisle.” Harry Reid is not your friend. Charles Schumer, Patrick Leahy and Dick Durbin, are not your friends. What’s more, Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray and Dianne Feinstein, are not going to the prom with you. Get over it.”

Obama Declares Mandatory Prayer Vigil for Obamacare

WASHINGTON (AP) – Last Wednesday, White House officials summoned dozens of leaders of nonprofit organizations that strongly back the health law to help them coordinate plans for a prayer vigil outside the court when justices hear arguments for three days beginning March 26.

Um… sure… you can recite Psalm 109:8

During a press conference today, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney clarified that praying that Obamacare be upheld is mandatory for all Americans.

“Just as forcing people to purchase free health insurance is either a tax or a fee or in the commerce clause or some kind of implied power doohickey,” said Carney, “the First Amendments clearly states that Americans have a right to ‘free exercise’ of religion. Since exercise is part of good health and – as the First Lady can tell you – a legitimate interest of the federal government, AND anything free is paid for and thus controlled by the federal government, there’s no reason that the President’s Health Care Reform law – which protects everyone’s health – can’t require you to pray for it.”

Asked by ABC’s Jake Tapper if vigil participants would be required to face any particular holy city during the event, Carney said he was “not at liberty to comment at this time.”

Presumptive GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney either agreed or not in his suave, important-haired fashion.

“As Governor of Massachusetts, I made many things mandatory, and prayer certainly may or may not have been one of them. While certainly or not a decision that is possibly proper on a state level, it’s not true that Obamacare would be based on what I might have done in Massachusetts which was completely different, if not similar, which I will repeal when I am elected, if, indeed, I oppose it, or not. Because I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in. That’s the America I love.”

Nuke the News: The Movie Version of My Book

* As you’ve probably heard by now, the Obama administration purchased the rights to the movie version of Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything, and the movie will be coming out Thursday this week. Over at PJ Media, I wrote up my thoughts on this momentous occasion.

* More primaries tomorrow. I guess Southern states. I really don’t care; I just want this over. We all know our nominee is going to be Romney and we’re just delaying the inevitable. I don’t like any of the other choices enough to keep pretending, though. Can’t we just end this and focus on how bad Obama is. Please?

* Democrats have their new talking point: The GOP is doing a “War on Women”. And the sad thing is some people are dumb enough to think that’s a real thing. I for one just find it supremely dishonest with the left pretends to care about anything other than their own politics. Democrats care about women the same way they care about blacks — they’re groups they can get votes from. If you ever want to see great examples of misogyny or racism, see how the left reacts to women and minorities who disagree with them.

If the left really cared about women, they have lots of misogyny on their own side to police without ever having to worry about conservatives. Plus, their own side might actually listen to them. But they tolerated a Senator who left a woman to drown in a car. And enthusiastically supported a president who sexually harassed women and dismissed accusations of rape against him. And just look at how they treat Sarah Palin. So if a liberal says he cares about women, tell him, “You care about women the same way I care about your face.” Then punch him really hard in the face.

* Hey, remember Alan Grayson? The liberals would talk about the need for civility, and then support this moronic, dishonest blowhard. So, were you wondering what he’s been up to since he lost his reelection by a wide margin? He ran a red light and crashed into a bus while heading to a campaign rally. Apparently he was heading to one of those $1000 a plate “We care about the poor” dinners. I don’t know if I could eat dinner with Alan Grayson in attendance; he probably eats like the cookie monster.

People supported that guy and still vote to this day. It’s scary.

Random Thoughts

When Obama says he’s “leading by example” does that mean he’s admitting to being a complete failure as a leader?

You think the Obama documentary might be some Fringe tie in where they show how great he did in some alternate universe?

If they’re doing a film version of my book “Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything” shouldn’t I have gotten a check?

Parks & Recreation has LITERALLY the best opening sequence of any tv show.

So, the first black president was elected and, according to HBO, the most interesting part of that was Sarah Palin.

HBO should put Sarah Palin in other shows to spice them up. “Game Change of Thrones”

Could you imagine how bad things would be if Sarah Palin had gotten in power? Obviously not as bad as they are now, but pretty bad.

Is Romney our nominee yet?

So is Game Change part of this “War on Women” I’ve been hearing about?

I, for the life of me, can’t figure out why I’d watch a movie that isn’t at least 25% gun fights.

I get why some newspapers aren’t running Doonesbury for a few days, but why are they running them any other time?
