A Suggestion to Obama for Bold Action on the Economy

Unemployment is up to 8.3%. Nancy Pelosi has hailed this as a “small step in the right direction.” That makes me think of a pirate talking to a guy hesitantly walking off a plank.

Obama needs some bold action to get the economy moving again. The best idea would be him to lead a visit to a coal mine with all the Democrat leaders and then get trapped down there for a few months. It would really help the private sector to know that all the main Democrats are trapped in a mine and thus won’t be bothering them for some time.

Outside of getting trapped in a mine, I’m not sure what else Obama could do within his ability that would be helpful. Fetch business creators coffee, maybe?

  1. Well, thank the Founders for the quadrennial elections. I understand that in an election year, politicians have to act as if they care about the people who vote for them, and therefore the politicians are afraid to do anything.

Although the coal mine sounds more certain of a positive outcome.

  2. Perhaps human sacrifice…every day…right on the White House steps, I think that would be pretty bold. You know…kind of like the Mayans did back in the day to ensure the sun came up every morning. It seemed to be effective and work for the Mayans…the proof being that during the whole Mayan era the sun never did fail to come up. I suggest he start with members of his own party as there are many of them who’s hearts I’d like to see removed.

  3. Wow, someone actually replied to her ghey tweet

@NancyPelosi You call an increase in the unemployment rate a step in the right direction? WTF? #tcot #p2

I wouldn’t want to be him when the IRS comes looking for him.
