The president of the Albuquerque Tea Party said that members are afraid to make donations for fear of being targeted by the IRS.

Easy fix – just make the donation in the name of your favorite Obama-voter.

  1. If the “Tea Party” is a grass roots movement, I’m still wondering why they need donations at all. Everything should be donated “in kind” : time, facilities, materials, etc. Don’t even keep a record of it. Don’t even keep a record of it. Free speech is not taxable.

  2. grass roots is still WAY cheaper than astroturf. That and the quality is much higher. Ref: the mess left behind after every leftist rally, and the non-mess left behind after TEA Party rallies.
