A leading earthquake expert has issued a dire warning to Californians about the expected impact of a major disruption to the San Andreas fault line in a lecture titled “Imagine America without Los Angeles.”
That’d be terrible. If we lose Hollywood, who’ll make the disaster movie about losing Hollywood?

We’ll do what we always do – send the job to India.
Or Canada.

@1&2
bollywood will shoot it in toronto
Either Toronto or somewhere in New Zealand. The real question is where will they film the celebrity charity telethon to raise money for the victims?
I’ll be in my bunk.
@6 Jayne Cobb Bacon to you, sir!
Imagine America without Los Angeles? I’d really rather imagine America without San Francisco.
Yowza — snarknado!
The movie would be made by that studio that makes Kirk Cameron Christian films in Georgia. But, the plot of the movie would be very similar to “The Last Days of Sodom and Gomorrah” and would end with Kirk holding an American flag on the new Nevada coastline.
After the earthquake is done in LA, can we bring it to NYC?
We’ve had several earthquakes here in the “Heartland” centered just north and east of Oklahoma City. Not big just enough to shake the dishes. Nothing like the earth shaking under your feet to check your reality.
…you should have seen the comments when the L.A. times originally published the article 2 weeks ago….it was pretty awesome.
Thanks to all of the gun control laws between California and Los Angeles, by the time FEMA got their act in gear the only people left would be a bunch of fat gang bangers.
