Was at at McDonalds drive thru a couple weeks ago in a small town in southeast Missouri. There was a computer voice that took your order, a machine that selected the correct size cup and dropped it into a conveyor belt. The belt stopped under the ice dispenser and then the soda or pop (whichever part of the country you are from).
I was thinking they want less work for more money…. Jeez (One possible positive note, removing the human element, you may get what you ordered.)
Of course there was a human to collect your money, but I’m sure they will stick a card swiper thing outside so you can swipe.
Am I the only one who noticed that the unemployment rate hasn’t dropped below 7 percent since the last time we raised the minimum wage?
As long as it pays union dues…who cares?
no matter what any socialist says the minimum wage will always be zero.
and the customer relations skills will stay about the same.

As long as the self-checkout terminal can send in an absentee ballot, who cares?
They won’t take checks.
