Random Thoughts: Logan Act and Vladimir

I assume the Logan Act was put in place after the traitorous actions of President Logan.

I don’t think there’s anything preventing someone from running for president while in prison, if that’s relevant to a candidate.

*Hitler answers the phone* “Hello?”
“I have a list of Nazis I’m killing, and you’re at the top.”
-Schindler’s List with today’s Liam Neeson

So our third child is going to be a girl. Girl, boy, girl.

My 22 month old son thinks it’s funny to hit me. And it is funny to hit me. But I still think I’m supposed to stop him.

Come on, you guys. Stop violating the Logan Act.

Woo! I’m in downtown Austin for SXSW! In a back room. At a laptop. Because that’s how I party.

The attack on Caesar on the Ides of March was in clear violation of the Logan Act.

Is it possible to be named “Vladimir” and not be evil?

If they find Vladimir Putin again, they should put a chip in his neck like we did the cats.

  1. I don’t think there’s anything preventing someone from running for president while in prison, if that’s relevant to a candidate.

In 1920, Eugene V. Debs did exactly that. It’s not clear whether the terms would have run concurrently or sequentially had he won.

  2. “[The President] shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur…” Technically, according to the media and Democrats [but I repeat myself] the framers of the Constitution are themselves guilty of violating the Logan Act. Look, the wrote it down for the whole world to see! What more proof is necessary?

    — Really depends on where he’s hitting you. With a second girl coming to out number him, he may feel justified.

  4. “So our third child ” – Congrats

I think that President Logan thing is pretty accurate. He was trying to sign some sort of treaty with the Russians, right? Then there was a bad guy named Vladimir.
