A ban seems like overkill. Logically, the appropriate response should be “microwhining”.

So it’s true…. we can’t even mock them anymore.
Their proposed solution to combat intolerance is to suggest more and greater intolerance. Their solution to supposedly suppressed speech is to suppress speech, but only the speech that doesn’t conform.
I never want to underestimate an enemy so I do have to wonder…. are they really serious? Or is the whole thing just one big spectacular attempt at troll-baiting the entire world?
The ban was implemented by the students – who all want to prove to Mommy and Daddy that they can “change the world.”

All the while, those who proposed the ban are hidden in their rooms eating chicken sandwiches saying, “Dang, this is good! Hope no one sees me.”

When I was younger and Chic-Fil-A was only in the malls around here, they’d have a plate of sample microagressions being handed out to people walking by. Having no money to speak of my friends and I would walk by several times to get more of those awesome microagressions.
Nowadays I can afford a full sized aggression. I’m not so much a fan of the waffleaggressions but my kids seem to like them.
So that means that the students are a macroaggression toward CFA, yes?
@5 – I consider it a microaggression if a black person walks into a room full of white people, because all the white people suddenly have to remember and abide by the full list of words that might offend the new arrival, and censor themselves accordingly.
And thus is free speech chilled.
As the proponents of a certain religion would say…massacre those that would ban Chick-Fil A from campus!
What’s need is some good old fashioned Macro-Aggression and an extra helping of Disproportionate response.
Show them what real aggression is and they’ll stop whining as they’ll start to flinch every time they think about talking.
@5 – And yet the same “students of color” can’t understand how the police feel when they walk into certain neighborhoods in order to do their jobs.
If colleges were the owners of more liquor and drugs, they would have all been burned down by spontaneous microaggresion.
So, if Chick-Fil A wanted to ban arrogant elitist liberal douche bags from their stores, they’d be in trouble but when arrogant elitist liberal douche bags want to ban Chick-Fil A from their indoctrination centers, that’s OK? If they can do it, why can’t Chick-Fil A?
If a black person walking into a room full of white people is “microaggression”, what do you call a white person walking into a ghetto full of black people looting and burning and killing each other?

…And we wonder why people graduating college now can’t find jobs in the corporate world. It’s not a lack of jobs as much as it is a lack of being ready for jobs in the real world.
…remember – 50% of any given population will be below average intelligence, and in a democracy the easiest path to power is be the guy that can fool that lower 50% into voting how you want – because that’s 50% plus 1 vote.
