The trendy craze toward coloring books for adults is causing a shortage of colored pencils.
Great. Can’t wait for Barack to try to fix it with mandatory “Opencilcare”.

Rationing, the only sensible way to go.
Y’know, I was thinking today about the saying, Necessity is the mother of invention.
But what happens in a culture that has advanced well enough that our basic needs are generally met with minimal effort on our part, and we all live… well, all things considered, rather decadently? Well, some of us continue to invent (and seek knowledge) because we’re interested in the pursuit of the new and amazing for its own sake.
Others turn to coloring books in their 30s-40s, I guess. :/
That’s cherce!
In a true market economy this shortage will be short lived since the technology exists to make more colored pencils if the market is there the need will be met. Oh, and am I still allowed to call them “colored” pencils or am I setting off a microaggression that requires the construction of safe rooms?
After President Sanders’ inauguration he will outlaw production of all pencil colors except brown, after all why do we need so many choices.
