Not to Be Nitpicky, But ActuallyMan Disagrees

Italian designer Stefano Gabbana doesn’t like being called gay because “The word ‘gay’ was invented by those who need to label people”.

Actually, it was invented by people who needed a shorter word for “lighthearted and carefee“.

    New lyrics for Les Misterables:

    Gay label? Gay libel!
    Let’s create a gay bible
    Announcing the renouncing of “Gay”!
    Yet bibles are hate speech
    Exclusively bait speech
And, to be honest, Creation is not our forté.

    Let’s get ’em, Girls!

Stefano Gabbana doesn’t like being called gay because “The word ‘gay’ was invented by homophobic transphobic misogynist sexist racist close-minded alt-right neo-Nazi Bible-thumping, bitter-clinging, deplorable, hate-mongering, backward, inbred, middle-American run-of-the-mill conservative so-called liberty-loving, right-wing, Bush-licking, Trump-Supporting, climate-change-denying, red-state gun-carryng NRA-supporting corporate stooge isolationist insider-trading Wall Street elitist, selfish, country-club billionaire old-boys’-network fascist anti-science ignorant backwards whale-killers … who need to label people.”
