    The Big Night #2:
“Now, trust me; look in the direction of Sagittarius, honey.”
    “Where’s Sagittarius?”
“It says east-northeast. There. Now up 67 degrees.”
    “Where?”
    “There.”
    “I can’t see where you’re pointing.”
    “See that blue star?”
    “No.”
    “The bluish one.”
    “No.”
“Then, see the three stars that form sort of a triangle?’
    “They all form triangles.”
“A boxy triangle, if you add in the bright one.”
“Maybe. Those ones that look like a cat?”
“Yes. Now just follow the right side of that up, straight up, about another half a foot.”
    “Huh. Can we go?”
“Wait, wait. Wait. It’s almost exactly 9:30 on the nose. They said exactly 9:30.”
    “This is…”
    “3! .. 2! .. 1! And!!”
    “What??”
“I’m not sure. I think you could see them burn up on reentry if we had a good telescope.”
    “Did you bring a telescope?”
“Well, no, I can’t afford one. I spent all my money on these two launches.”
[She looks at him as a person may view a phenomenon.]
