It’s a classic example of “begging the question” — assuming the point you’re trying to prove. If they call what’s-her-face a survivor, they’re ASSUMING she was actually attacked, and survived, and is telling the truth, rather than repeating what she gleaned under hypnosis/therapy/mumbo-jumbo.
