Cancelling Will S.

A friend and I were wondering how long it would be before the Bard would also be cancelled. We did not have long to wait.In an article in the School Library Journal, librarian Amanda MacGregor conceded that Shakespeare was a “genius wordsmith” but that his work is full of “problematic, outdated ideas, with plenty of misogyny, racism, homophobia, classism, anti-Semitism, and misogynoir.”
Well, technically I didn’t learn the word, because I have no intention of finding out what ‘misogynoir’ means. Liberals are dumb, but occasionally creative. And not in a good way.

‘misogynoir’ my guess it means mistreater of Blacks.
Close. Black woman. It’s one of those squashed together words – misogyny and noir.
poortwomanteau
It means treating women like in an old detective film.
“As soon as that strong, independent broad walked into my office, I knew she was trouble. Which was good, because well-behaved dames rarely make history.”
misogynoir: “Coined by the queer Black feminist Moya Bailey in 2010”.
A word as relevant as she.
I really thought it was a mistake until I looked it up! You learn something new every day….
