Chinese Communist Party Bans ‘Sissy Men’ From Appearing in Media
PJ Media | 04/02/2023 | Ben Bartee

In a bid to shore up its perceived strength as an ascendant global leader, the ruling Chinese Communist Party has banned effeminate men, which it refers to by a phrase in Chinese that translates roughly to “sissy men,” from the media.

The ban affects a spectrum of Chinese males, ranging from full-on transgenders to pop music stars with silky smooth skin and boyish charm.

It’s no exaggeration to say that East Asian “sissy men” are effeminate in the extreme. Exhibit A is the South Korean boy band phenom BTS.

I know, from hands-on, in-the-field amateur sociological research, that East Asian women, as a general rule, adore men who present in this way.

So that’s why they ordered Biden to get rid of Sam Brinton.

Straight Line of the Day: Ways the Navy Can Fight Climate Change: …

‘Climate Change’ Now Top Priority for US Navy
townhall.com | 3/23/2023 | Bob Barr

In a stunning, but not altogether surprising statement, America’s top Navy official declared that “fighting climate change” is a “top priority” for the U.S. Navy. Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro announced this last week not at the Pentagon or the U.S. Naval Academy, but at a conference in the Bahamas.

It is likely that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, meeting this week in Moscow to discuss closer military cooperation, shared a high five on hearing the Navy Secretary’s declaration.

McDonald’s Closes All of Its US Offices and Cancels In-Person Meetings This Week as It Prepares To Layoff Corporate Staff – After CEO Warned ‘Difficult Decisions’ Will Be Made
UK Daily Mail | 3 April 2023 | Hope Sloop

A fitting name for the author.

And — a comment that gave me a chuckle:

“Getting laid off from McDonald’s will not look good on your resume.”

Slightly off-topic: I wonder if this CEO got a performance bonus this year.

Judge Shields Hunter Biden’s Finances From Public in Child-Support Case
New York Post | 4/1/23 | Jacob Geanous

A judge ordered Hunter Biden’s financial records to be shielded from the public in an ongoing paternity case in Arkansas.

Circuit Judge Holly Meyer ruled Monday that all of the information the first son submits to the court related to his request to lower child-support payments, including financial records, will remain under seal.

Only attorneys on the case or expert witnesses retained to testify will be allowed access to the financial records, Meyer ruled.

In her order, Meyer addressed the political interest in Biden’s finances, which could include the names of those who bought his paintings and what they paid for them.

One was priced at nearly a quarter-million dollars at a gallery show late last year.

Both Biden and his Manhattan art dealer, Georges Berges, have refused to provide any information about the buyers.

“There is good cause for the protection of private information of the parties in this cause,” Meyers wrote, adding that “the court has no concern for the political nature or aspects surrounding this case.”

Whew! So Stormy Daniels’ non-disclosure agreement will surely be kept secret.

The Elon Musk Assessment of NYT’s Feed: ‘Twitter Equivalent of Diarrhea’
NewsBusters | 4/3/2023 | Joseph Vazquez

Twitter owner Elon Musk identified what many Americans know to be true about the leftist New York Times: Its incessant propaganda isn’t even good enough to line a birdcage.

Musk tweeted April 2 that the “real tragedy” for The Times is that their “propaganda isn’t even interesting.” In addition, Musk said in a follow-up tweet, “their feed is the Twitter equivalent of diarrhea. It’s unreadable.” Musk is right . . .
