There it is. I found it. In an Associated Press story. In the Washington Post. The finally admit it: people that support Democrats aren’t real Americans!
The story is about a proposal in Portland, Maine, that will allow non-citizens to vote. Now, it’s not proposing to allow illegal immigrants to vote. It’s proposing to allow legal immigrants who are not citizens to vote.
And one of the people that the story profiled lives in Minneapolis, has lived there nearly two decades, but hasn’t learned much English and still isn’t a citizen. But, he sends his kids to public school and wants to vote for those on the school board.
Guess who he wants to vote for? Democrats.
“I like the Democrats. I want to vote for Democrats, but I don’t have citizenship,” he said.
Why isn’t he a citizen? The AP story sums it up:
To become a citizen, immigrants must be a lawful permanent resident for at least five years, pass tests on English and U.S. history and government, and swear allegiance to the United States.
See the problem? He’d have to swear allegiance to the United States. And there’s no way he could follow through on that oath and vote for a Democrat.
No one who loves American could vote for a Democrat.

Flawless logic.
I was so angry when I read this. These marxist want people, who are not citizens of my great country, to have the privileges of citizenship.
I keep hearing people on the right say we should not speak of armed revolution, but I am fast thinking of telling them to pound sand.
When are republicans going to grow a pair and start imprisoning these marxists for treason, insurrection, and just downright stupidity?
This isn’t even funny anymore. What happened to our country? When we could have ahumor blog where we could post humor instead of seeing demoncraps wanting foreigners to vote? If you are going to do that why limit it to people who live here, just send ballots to mexico and venezulelelal and moscow and havana and ho chi min city?

sorry everyone, now back to the humor.
F*@K YOU, MAINE!
[A little harsh, isn’t that? It’s only Portland with the initiative. Can’t take it out on the entire state. It’s not like it used to be a part of Massachusetts or anything. Besides, they named their state capital after a city in Georgia. Can’t be all bad. – B.]
He’s from Minnesota…hangs head in shame…again!
The dems will do anything to get any vote for them, and eliminate any vote for anyone else. Who need patriotisim when can vote yourself more benefits?
This wouldn’t be happening if they had bought an “R” sometime in their life.
To be fair I’ve never swore an oath to the United States either. I’ve pledged allegiance to the flag of the USA and I’ve swore to defend the constitution, but never to the country itself.
We just got back from 2 weeks vacation in midcoast Maine where we’ve been going for years. It’s teeming with leftists. It used to be confined to the certain well-known areas but the hippies have multiplied like bedbugs and ruined the state just like they did in Vermont. Our arms were sore from holding back the reflexive action to punch them in their faces. We’re not going back anymore, it really was that depressing.
To be fair, it’s a privilege that we allow aliens in the country at all. We should make ’em swear to all kinds of stuff.
If you hang out with people who are here as legal aliens or people who want to emigrate here, you’ll find that many, but by by no means all of them, believe that US citizenship is somehow their right. In my experience, they state this after listing all the multitudinous ways in which the United States is a reprehensible nation. I exaggerate you not.
And there you have it. There’s no need to push the line towards the left. If Claude Rwaganje wants to vote, even in local elections, all he has to do is what every other naturalized citizen has done. If he doesn’t want to be a U.S. citizen, then he cannot vote. That Right is reserved for citizens who have sworn their allegiance to the U.S.A. If Portland, San Francisco, and Chicago want it different, then they can secede from the union – and good riddance! Then they can be the only nation on Earth that allows non-citizens to vote.
If you think that allowing non-citizens to vote in small local elections is no big deal – think again. The candidates for higher office were candidates for local office first (present resident of the White House excuded). First you have a bunch of legal residents electing school board members, next those board members are running for mayor. Remember, Obama climbed very few steps very quickly from community organizer to Commander-in-Chief.
And, as for my earlier suggestion about what Maine can do with itself – until the alleged non-leftists in Maine cordon off Portland and search it for commies – F*@K YOU MAINE! And the donkey you rode in on!
Clearly is more interested in maintaining his allegiance to his home country than to applying for citizenship to the US after all these years. Sounds more like someone who has overstayed his welcome than someone who deserves to be awarded the right to vote.

Basil, I grew up in Conn. then Maine (5-6 Years )I go back every year or so, Statements are not harsh enough although coldguy is non-specific as to causes. My memory say schools, media, politics solid liberal, I went thru High school there and never heard the word conservative. As far as it being just a Portland thing. Wrong. The portland viewpoint is basically the statewide programed viewpoint. The only good thing happened was I got drafted . It got me basic in San Antone, Texas, And a tour in Sunny Southeast Asia (not so good). It did wake me up to the fact liberals $uck big time.
Go back to the fun now.
pass tests on English and U.S. history and government
If all citizens had to do the same before voting, there might be a lot less freaks in Congress today.
They would only be able to vote in local elections. Mayor, school board, city council crap like that.
I still don’t agree with it but I never go to portland anyways. Mostly because of the scary immigrants.
