As for using the neck to hang him, I think that’s a good thing to hang him by. People may suggest other things by which to hang him, though.
For people questioning the timing of this announcement, I think you’re wasting your time. You should save all your timing questioning for whatever surprise the evil Karl Rove springs on us tomorrow.

I agree this wasn’t politically timed. The last thing the GOP would want is one more event right before the election that reminds Americans of the Iraq War. That just reminds them of what a disaster the Iraq War is and how incompetent Rumsfeld and the Bush administration have been and how many of our soldiers have died because of the way they have managed this war.
So, what’s the big Rove surprise? Maybe he will just ask Rush to shake his body around to make fun of Micheal J. Fox again or find another Kerry comment to make fun of. Look what John Kerry just said — he must really hate the troops now! Or how about more of the “Where’s Pelosi?” thing they have been trying on the Drudge Report and Rush Limbaugh’s site? Like that’s really going to make voters think “dang where the f… is Pelosi? I’m not voting for a Democrat now because she’s missing.” The only surprise from Rove this election period has been a lack of a surprise.
But even with Rove’s odd 2006 campaign strategies I will be surprised if the GOP loses as many seats as some of the articles are saying.
What would be really great is if we could just get rid of the ridiculous Bush administration — even if we had to put in some different Repubs — a swap for more competent Repubs would be great. But we can’t do that this election period and that’s a real shame.

I think that part of Islamic law has “eye for an eye” requirements, so maybe they could try this:
Hang him by his feet.
Over a wood chipper.
The same way he and his psychopathic sons hung many of their own people.
