Icebreaker: What Would Be Your Perfect Job?

Having finished “The 25 most popular icebreaker questions based on four years of data” and enjoyed the results, I’m moving on to a new list:

76 Fun Icebreaker Questions (Not all of which will be used, since some are either/or questions, which are boring.)

Your mission: answer the question in the comments with a good story.

If you don’t have a good story, you are encouraged to make one up.

What would be your perfect job?

Well, I’m happy doing what I’m doing, but I sorta wish I’d been an MSNBC cameramen last election night. Although I’d have been fired for giggling.

  1. Nothing, my perfect job would be doing nothing at all. Currently (being as I’m retired) my job IS doing nothing, and I have found I am very good at my job. In fact, I’m an expert at doing nothing. Whenever someone calls me and asks me what I’m doing, I proudly tell them…nothing. Prior to this job I had a job that required me to do something. It was an okay job but I had aspirations to get a better more enjoyable job. So after years and years of doing something, I retired, and now I do nothing, absolutely nothing at all. And the best part is…I get paid for doing nothing. I love this country.
