Marvel Apologizes

Sorta. I mentioned before that Captain America seemed to be taking on the Tea Party, but now Marvel wants to make it clear that the people Captain America would be fighting aren’t part of the Tea Party. If they really want to make things up, though, they should have Captain America punch out Obama for being a socialist and then appoint Dick Cheney to president who will then give a bunch of no-bid contract to Stark Industries. And Bruce Banner should join the protest and hulk-out anytime someone mentions a public option.

Maybe Marvel could just kill Captain America off again. I vote they have Fred Thompson kick him in the nads, and send him flying into the sun. Or Maybe Dick Cheney could shoot him in the face.

Take my word for it, I’ve been workin’ for DC Comics since 1944 and I have it on good authority that most of the so-called super hero types over at Marvel Comics are a bunch of f**king retards. In fact a couple of them are a little light in their loafers, if you get my drift. Their powers are dubious, the plots of their stories are pathetic, and most of them would be better off earning their living as side show freaks…Mr. Mxyzptlk, Livin’ large in the DC rest home, Fifth Dimension.

We apologise again for the fault in the subtitles. Those
responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked
    have been sacked…

The directors of the firm hired to
continue the credits after the other
people had been sacked, wish it to
be known that they have just been
    sacked.

    The credits have been completed
in an entirely different style at
great expense and at the last
    minute.

    What’s a comic book?

You should reread their apology, they’re sorry they got caught.
They took out the “tea bag” thing and left the rest in.

Like how the black man wouldn’t fit in with a bunch of angry, white folk. And they weren’t talking about MSNBC!

I’d like to see the Hulk fight Meanshell Obama, she as big as the Hulk.

Perhaps Marvel could actually have Captain America take on Osama Bin Laden, instead of patriotic Americans. I know that’s a novel idea that Captain America would actually have a problem with people who kill Americans, but in real life I think that’s what Captain America would probably do.

Oh, that’s right, that might actually take some principles. Never mind.

DC comics aren’t totally clean either, just more subtle about it.
When George Bush senior was running for president, they introduced a minor character; a politician named Forest who was in the pocket of Lex Luthor.
But they never built a major story line around him as far as I can recall.

If you go read the Day By Day cartoon (and you really should) he always has some links to online strips and graphic

novels. These guys do need the hits on their sites. The banner type link he has up at the top now is a cool science fiction

    strip that’s kinda funny.

Don’t forget when Ultimate X-men debuted, they had Bush stripped naked and kneeling at Magneto’s feet after, according to Magneto, licking his boots.

I stopped reading Marvel altogether years ago. I find the smaller companies put out more interesting stories. I can’t recommend enough the first TPB of Hack & Slash.

Screw you, Marvel. I hope Stan Lee isn’t having a stroke seeing them run it into the ground.

Stan doesn’t care, he’s busy playing celebrity at comic conventions, and signing Jack Kirby’s artwork.

    Nuff Said!!

Maybe Marvel should have Barney Frank Tea Bag Captain America. He will learn to keep his big mouth shut!

On the bright side, John Mayer has apologized for his use of the “N” word in his career-ending interview with Playboy, in which he also dishes the kind of stuff real men never tell about his ex-girlfriends…and no one seems to be buying it. So, another stupid liberal let the world know who he really is, and hopefully his 15 minutes of undue fame are up.

If I may put my vote in that we not attack Michelle Obama’s physical appearance in a personal or degrading way. I think we should continue to focus on what she does and what she says only. Like when she chooses weird expensive clothes to help homeless people or says things that show her narrow-minded “Hyde Park” understanding of American history.

The think the alternative makes us look bad while feeding our enemies and alienating the independents and casuals.
