  1. “public school” is the second greatest evil of our time. Just try to imagine arranging a situation in America where a judge has the gall to think he can tell a child, “Here, you shall not pray”. Insanity.
Any time a government puke thinks he has the ability (never mind the need) to violate anybody’s Constitutionally protected, God-given rights, there is a situation self-identified as one where government must remove itself.

Instead, give each child 40% of what you claim to be spending to “educate” him. Watch the boutique schools pop up on every street corner, offering the precise mix of services you want for your child, and within walking distance. Want an all-girl school? All homo? No homo? Think sexuality should start after the school years? Whatever you want, there’s a school for that. You think sports are important, or do you want them to focus on the 3R’s? You can have it your way. And for precisely that 40% dollar amount, too. Think your kid is better than your neighbors? There’s a place you can drop them off at that costs more, just for you.

  2. I have been saying this kind of thing for quite some time. In our little slice of heaven it supposedly costs 12,000+ to educate one child for one year. Nonsense. Why is it that homeschoolers are so much more advanced educationally than public schoolers……….student to teacher ratio. How can any teacher make sure that 25+ kids are learning everything they need to know. They can’t of course. The system, like the federal government is oversized, overburdened and broken and needs to be dismantled and rebuilt using better sense and NO union input (and returned to the control of parents and local school boards.
