I’ve been wanting to comment on Arnold Schwarzenegger running for governor of California, but for the time being I don’t have much to add past this previous post if you hadn’t read it.

Arnold is a fiscally conservative candidate, and this is what CA needs right now. I personally would never want him as my governor — he just isn’t conservative enough. As a matter of fact, he’s barely a moderate republican. He supports a lot of social programs that I think — as a Conservative Republican/Libertarian — are completely bogus.
If Arnold fixes the economical situation in California, that will impact the rest of the nation, being that California is the largest economical attraction in the country. The CA deficit is more than the 49 other states’ combined. I believe Arnold could fix that economical situation, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
What’s hilarious to me is the slandering and bombing on Arnold by the Democrats. It’s hilarious! I mean, what if the guy was a REAL conservative? I couldn’t imagine what the Democrats would be throwing at him at that point.
That’s weird, I don’t remember reading this post before. Huh, I must have been drunk out of my mind on July 7th.
Hmm, if the Democrats are pissed he must be doing something right.
Then again, that’s predicated on the assumption that the Dems are able to make rational judgments. Maybe not.
There are some very compelling reasons to vote for Arnold in this recall election. He led Proposition 49 last year which expanded afterschool programs for kids (over 1.2M children had the opportunity to take advantage of these programs and stay safe from the streets).
