Some people seem to be freak’n out over the early exit poll data, but that’s even less reliable than regular polls. Remember, Republicans have jobs so they’ll probably be voting later in the day after work.
Chill, foo’s.
First!!!!!! I just cast my vote. When some Kerry Namby Pamby tried to give me the Dem. voter ballot guide, without thinking I said, “No thanks, I work for the Dept. of Homeland Security. Bush has my vote all the way.”
i’ve heard it put the other way: workin’ folk ( republican largely) vote before work. dems don’t get up before noon and have to wait for a ride to the polls.
just remember that in 2000 all the early exit polls had Gore up substantially and then Bush ended up catching up with him everywhere. If anything, these early exit polls are encouraging because they only have Kerry up 1 or 2–the Bush surge that’s coming will mean a bigger Bush win than in 2000.
I expect your right. Jobs can be inconvenient.

Damm! I got beat! Oh, well, Second!!!
Yeah, I think this is pretty conventional wisdom… I took the day off, but I called my Father and he had just left the precinct after work.
Hey FrankJ, I am freaking out! 🙂

Fox News appears to be freaking out – I think they’ve invoked the name of Kerry 50 to 1 over Bush in the last few hours – what’s with that?
chill foo’s. I gotta go intimidate some voters now, back soon.
BOO!
