  1. Hungry third world child: “I’m Hungry!’
Hungry third world parent: “Alright but make sure you barter enough food from the Nicaraguan soldiers for all of us when you work that money maker.”

  2. Thanks — found it! It helped improve my jog time from 50:30 to 48:30 That is some excellent laugh out loud stuff. Yea there’s some slow parts but overall it’s excellent.
I want to hear more ads for fat dumb cats, though.
Now I know why you posted a picture of Reynolds eating puppy heads. My wife didn’t get it, though.

  3. Love it, but c’mon Frank. We look to you for accuracy, and you failed us. Tom Delay is the House Majority Leader, not the Speaker of the House. That would be Dennis Hastert.

    Thanks for the funny.

  4. Overall thought is….Great! It’s better than the first. Much better editing! The only thing I would say to all of you, with the exception of FrankJ and SarahK, is…….STOP talking like you’re afraid of the microphone! You all sound like you’re huddling away in a corner somewhere or likely to fall asleep at any moment. The only variance is the “roundtable” as far as I can hear (this is “audio” after all!). When you each do your own individual parts, you sound so, well, intimidated. Be BOLD! Talk like you have something to say and don’t care who hears it! Come on guys!
This is the only bad thing I garnered from the second IMAO podcast. The material was great, it was the delivery that left me wanting, so to speak. The roundtable found you all in your element, who you all really are, at least as we’ve come to know you.
Really guys, your material is great. You need to work on your delivery, IMHO. Then again, maybe it’s just me. You asked for feedback, so now you have it from a loyal IMAO reader. I look forward to next Monday. Great work guys (and SarahK)!

  5. That was really funny stuff guys, (you too Sara, your singing is really very beautiful!). I listened to it twice (went for a second round while making someone else listen too).
Since I missed the first release and have downloaded the ipod hickymajig but can’t figure out what, exactly, to do next (lol), anybody out there to help me out? Pretty please?

  6. Uber,
If you have iPodder, do this to get caught up with the IMAO Podcasts (and never miss another in the future):

STEP 2: Click on the “Subscriptions” tab
STEP 3: Click on the green “+” button to Add Feed
STEP 4: Paste the following IMAO “feed” text into the URL box:

STEP 5: Select the “Podcast for May 28, 2005” option in the Episode window and begin your download.
    Thanks for listening,
    Scott

  7. Most classical music works by the great composers like Beethoven are in the public domain and therefore do not cost us any many to use.
However, if I used the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s rendition of Beethoven’s Fifth as the theme music to the IMAO Podcast, I would have to pay the performance fee to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra for their performance of the song in the public domain.
Just because a song is in the public domain does NOT mean I can use it for free. The performers should and must get paid.
There’s a 99% chance that we’ll have new theme music for the June 13 IMAO Podcast, written and performed by a good conservative musician and blogger… more details when they become available.

  8. The Alaska Segment was very, very funny.
“Zoolander” is not a classic in any sense of the word, SarahK. Humphrey Bogart was actually employed as a male model before acting on stage, and later in films.
Try watching Howard Hawk’s “The Thing From Another World” or Stanley Kubrick’s ” Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb”.
    Those Are Classics.
The Hate-Filled Left Segment was GREAT!
As was the discussion of the Koran and using forced labor for drilling in ANWR.
    Jack.

  9. Frank- Long time no visit…( I told you to check out the movie ‘Equilibrium’, and you reviewed it…’member?) Anywhoosit, I just DL’ed the 6-6-05 podcast (cause I ain’t got a pod thingy) and I was impressed. Damned fine work. Very professional quality, very funny. Was that really your voice in it or just some monkey impersonator? Either way, Bravo for the hilarious material. It was some of the best dang free entertainment I have heard on the ‘net in a long time.
I’ll be sure to check back more often now…many thanks….
