John Hawkins has an interview with new blogger Tom DeLay. Will he ask the tough questions?
Rich Lowry makes it look like Jimmy Carter and Mel Gibson should be close friends. Did you know the Israelis are persecuting Christians now just like they did with Jesus? So says Jimmah!
Pelosi’s choice for head of the Intelligence Committee couldn’t even answer correctly whether al Qaeda is Sunni or Shiite. And people wonder why we don’t take the Democrats seriously on international affairs. I mean, I knew that one easy I just write a sucky humor blog. (hat tip to reader Sean)

  1. Is it just me or does Tom comes off as a little – what’s the word? – arrogant in his interview? In his answer to the first question, he basically sums up the Republican losses to the fact that he wasn’t in charge anymore and that the current house leadership was too inept to get things together in time to come up with a decent strategy.
Of course now that I’ve said that, he probably won’t respond to any of my meme tags.

  2. I noticed that you share the last name of a very famous novelist, Ian Fleming of Bond fame.
I’m sure that’s going to go badly for you, I just don’t know why.
What’s all this about a baby shower?
Oh, sorry for the threadjack. I figured you’d give me a pass cause I mentioned you being an author and all.

  3. Hey Frank! My wife just told me that the book arrived today, so I’m looking forward to some reading when I get home from work. The “Packaged with Love by Sarah” language almost got her thinking I had a girlfriend on the side though! 🙂

Why should they? Their answer is probably “Sunny; if you compare them to sheee-ite, you’re a racist!”
Demoncrat international affairs? I can sum up the Demoncrat forgen policy in one clean sentance: “Do as the French; at the fist sign of trouble, apologize and run!”

  5. Alan, you’re giving her too much credit. She can surround herself with almost anything (that doesn’t throw feces at eachother,) and still maintain at least a sense of competence, why is Bill Clinton still in the news, sometimes?

  6. I posted on Reyes last week. Of course, he is so clueless that last week he wanted to send MORE troops to Iraq. Then the ISG came out, verifying Conservatives worst fears (and what we on the left have known for 3 years) That Iraq is a complete mess and he changed his tune. Democrat/Republican- neither of our party’s members seem to know Jack shit about what is going on in Iraq. And Our Decider has put off deciding until next year. So, every US Soldier that dies from now til he makes up his mind is his Direct responsibility. The fact is, the average Bloghopping American knows 10 times more than our politicians about Iraq. Sad, eh? I think its time to get rid of ALL these do-nothing Incumbents like McCain and Reyes.
