Best. Game. Ever.

Here’s the highlights of the last minutes of the Fiesta Bowl (thank you Allahpundit of Hot Air). Watch especially for the hook and lateral play that puts them into OT and the Statue of Liberty play that completes the two point conversion to win the game:

  1. no way, Texas over USC was the best ever for 2 reasons
    1) it was for a national title
    2) nothing tops watching that child molesting f*** pete carroll cry after a loss
don’t get me wrong, this game was great, but it only comes in second…

  2. Great game for many reasons, and this is a BSU alumnus speaking so listen up!
To see the Okies touted as “Goliath” for the weeks leading up to the gameonly to have them toppled is Classic football!
Not only did “David” cast the first stone, draw first blood, and keep the giant at bay for the entire game, they did it with class.
Coach Stoops arguing that call at the beginning of the game was ridiculous! Why blow your wad in the first minutes of the game?
BSU deserved this shot and the win was sweet! Stop talking smack about the blue turf. Anyone can have whatever color turf they want. Boise is just original.
    Cheers, everyone.

  3. This was the best game I ever saw PERIOD! I thought BSU was dead. The hook and ladder on 4th down was unbelievable and to go for 2 points in overtime took balls! We fired Glen Mason here in Minnesota…I hope we hire a new coach with a pair like this guy!

  4. I agree with ussjimmycarter! Best ever. I was depressed though, by the fact that no one else here at work apparently watched it so I had to talk excitedly about the game for the next two days to myself. 🙁

  5. I think that for BSU to be the only undefeated team after the 2006 season would be SWEEEEEEET! (to quote Toby Keith, even though he’s an Okie.)
I’ve never cheered for Florida, but I s’pose I could put on my Mickey Mouse ears for the game.
