She makes it a very plain point. I’ve read some of the comments left on sites like Pandagon and then read some of the comments trolls left for MM via email, and I gotta say there no equal comparison.
Amanda gets a few nasty remarks left for her (I’ve left a couple abrasive ones myself), but they’re mostly teasing her hatefulness & hypocrisy. Michelle on the other hand, gets racist, sexist, hateful remarks constantly. Her detractors have gone so far as to threaten her life & the lives of her loved ones, not to mention posting her home address on the net, apparantly hoping that someone would show up at her door & harass her… or worse.
If anyone thinks that the leftists are generally more tolerant & loving than those on the right, do your own comparisons.
Near the end of the clip, with about 45 seconds left, Arianna Huffington comments that the “most toxic woman on TV” is Ann Coulter.
Yeah, maybe that’s true, but Ann is popular because she’s an anomaly: a rude right-winger. Most of us are sickeningly polite and spineless. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.
