The Klingon word for “awesome” is “Fred Thompson.”

Two more commentaries supporting Fred! this morning: David Limbaugh (http://www.townhall.com/columnists/DavidLimbaugh/2008/01/01/time_to_step_up,_fred) and Lawrence Lindsay (http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110011069).
Limbaugh, however, still can’t get away from the “show us you want it” trope. So Fred! isn’t a big fan of the campaign process. What kind of person is? Are we electing a president or a sales rep? “Fire in the belly” = “sick with ambition”. If you’re looking for a candidate who wants the job more than the results that they can achieve *in* the job, vote for a democrat.
Ok, it’s a humor site, so let me put it this way:
Fred! may not have the “fire in the belly,” but he has been known to force-feed white phosphorous to people who cut him off in traffic.
Peace in Swedish, Norwegian and Danish (all the Viking nations) is “Fred”.
Peace to a Viking can only mean peace through strength, or the peace that comes after the battle.
Cosmically appropriate name, don’t you think?

Really! Its true! See http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/peace
Fred = Peace in Viking (Which is as close as you can get on Earth to Klingon)
In several important languages, “Fred” means “never having to say you’re sorry”.
I would tell you what the word “Ron Paul” means in Klingon, but it is too vile, disgusting, and depraved even for the internet.
hey, that’s 2 words
