Jack Murtha is, in my Army state of mind a perfect example of an EX-Marine. Marines have more esprit-de-corps than any American service, but I seriously doubt that any Marine thinks Murtha is still a Marine. My dad and brother would attest to that.
Whoa, Paleo. I didn’t look before I posted. Yeah, maybe. Either that or Tennessee. The Soviet State of Washington is financially imploding already. When it (the recession) fully hits Boeing, all hell is going to break loose here.
As a former Marine, honorably discharged, I cannot see how Murtha could ever have been a Marine. He embodies no characteristic inherent to any Marine I have ever met.
As for PA… wow…
I am a *former* Pennsylvania resident, and thank goodness I am. In PA they talk about the “brain drain”–smart people leaving the state for decent jobs–and every other year they show it off at the voting booth.
Pennsylvanians for Obama 2008: Thanks for Not Paying Attention!
It makes me ashamed to be from PA.
But then I ended up moving to MA for one of those jobs, so go figure.
It’s time to take a transfer to somewhere South. I don’t want to he caught behind enemy lines after the feces impacts the atmospheric recirculation appliance.
Oh, and I gotta stop at the gun shop on the way home from work and buy another AK.
Tennessee, outside of Memphis and Shelby County, is pretty cool. No state income tax, no gambling (except for the lottery), concealed carry laws, good hunting and fishing, good whiskey and temporate climate. I need to move just a bit farther east.
You could always try northwest Arkansas. Nobody lives close to anyone else, and I happen to know of some caves for sale. The Boston Mountains are full of them. And very few liberals. They hated Clinton.
PA and OH have both experienced “brain drain.” Unfortunately, the brains that remain are also drained.
My vote’s for Tennessee. (4 of 7, you’re right; east is best.) 2 to 1 against The O. Friendly as all git-out. Way low property tax. Best cathead biscuits and gravy in THE WORLD, num num num.
Ex-Marine Ex-Marine Ex-Marine!
I love that – Yep their loss, Russell wold have been a great choice so they deserve what they get
Maybe he’ll increas his yelling about them being rasicst and redneck – one can only hope
Tennessee Republicans gained seats in both houses of the state legistlature, giving them control of both houses for the 1st time since Reconstruction.
HSA, Heartland States of America?
We (the red states) have got the coal, oil, shale, gold, iron, uranium, industry, military bases, most of the privately owned firearms, and the best farmland on earth.
Screw the blue states!
Ahh! let me dream….
So, will the Resistance be headquartered in Idaho, and can we all stay with you?
Gah! REALLY? (Kyle head tilt)

I’m more interested in where the “lines” will be drawn.
Jimmy,
I am moving to Texas. You in, or what? Keep in mind that Texas is #2 in population. You in? I love Texas! Fort Sam Houston!
I was so interested in the first two comments, I forgot what your post was about, Frank.
Murtha’s reelection: unbelievable affirmation of an unpatriotic c#ck&@$%er

Murtha was wrong,
his voters are even dumber than racists.

Apparently Murtha was correct. His district is apparently full of the dumbest rednecks on the planet.

you are right Frank. you have to be dumber than a rock to vote for someone who called you dumber than a rock.
