So, judging by the viewing stats, the Four Words From Obama video I made seemed fairly popular. So I fiddled around with doing a complete Lightning Round from the Fred Thompson show:
Wondering if I should lose the intro & trim the end, since they don’t add much entertainment value, or if it’s better to keep the whole segment intact?
I would trim the intro from 15 to maybe 5 or 10 seconds. In my arrogant opinion.
I like the lightning too but just a few seconds less
I like it just like it is…but then, I can sometimes be a kiss-ass.
So maybe just skip the “Grease” singers, and start with the thunder over the 3-pronged lightning?
What about the ending? I mean people are just going to stop watching after Fred finishes talking anyway, right?
Or… after Fred’s done talking, I could keep about 2 seconds of music that fades out to silence, then cut.
Oh, and no ass-kissing. This took about 3 hours to throw together, so if I make a habit out of this, I want it to be something people enjoy watching. Bad parts of this project need to be identified before they can become bad habits.
Feel free to comment on the content images, too.
I don’t have a comment, I can’t watch at work. I just wanted to get some color on the right hand side….
I like it the way it is. Maybe a little bit shorter on the intro, and, what you said above is correct (at least in my case). I stopped watching after Fred finished talking, so you can cut some off the end.
I agree with Marko.
I enjoyed it as is, but if your picture of Fred is a current picture, he looks OLD, while Jeri looks YOWZA!
Pretty cool. Now do one every day for the lightning round.
Slightly off topic, but cowboys everywhere are turning in their hats for ball caps. The power of the president, Anti-whatever he’s for.
