  1. What ever one thinks of Palin, she is so “stupid” she is kingmaker. Being at the forefront of a conservative revolution makes her smarter than being a professional teleprompter reader working for the U.S. Govt. or pmsnbc.

I guess they think Palin is stupid because her brains aren’t bigger than her head.

  2. You can’t make True Grit without John Wayne! That’s why it’s a John Wayne movie! Because John Wayne starred in it! So in this version will Rooster be all Brokeback Mountain with Matt Damon playing a Rump Ranger or what?

  3. Sarah Palin has the best job in the world…pissing off progs. Her very existence pisses them off, much less when she gives a speech. And what does she get in return? Besides the obvious satisfaction of knowing she absolutely drives them crazy, she gets millions of dollars per year for doing it! For her I’d say that’s a win/win situation.

  4. I heart Sarah Palin! I have a major crush on her…don’t tell my wife! She needs to run for POTUS in 2 years and pick Michelle Bachman as her running mate! Now that would be a kick-ass team! They would make Obama/Biden or Obama/Hillary look like the idiots that they are! What we don’t need is what the GOP and RNC are going to try to shove down our throats and that’s Mitt Romney…good grief!!!

  5. USSJC, I like the term Mike Church uses for romney, mitt for brains.

I am not a big fan of Palin, but she is growing on me. I would certainly support her over hucklebee or mitt for brains, or teh lizard.

I am going to start a recruit Jim DeMint movement if I can find the time with the working to support my family and all.

Dang, sometime I wish I were a hippy pos, then I would have time to sit on the couch smoke a refer, ruin the country. All those good leftist things. Heck I could even be punched if it meant you had to pay for all of my existence.

Who ever remakes True Grit, should be boiled in their own skin and sent to Hong Kong as a delicacy.

  6. Nah, just blank stares and “nasty silence,” ussjc. At my age, I’m done with idiots, related or not. I tell ’em exactly where they’re wrong and why they can’t eat their own philosphy which is sinking the country. Palin’s philosophy of “drill here, drill now” is production-oriented. Hey, liberals ! You don’t think you can eat that oil? WTF do you think fertilized the soil that grew the food you’re eating?

    Idiots.

  7. There’s a prob here. Matt Damon is lacking grit (or “no matter how lack of grit” he has in MegoMcCainSpeak).

I still haven’t gotten over the movie about Cash that no matter how lack of Cash’s own music it was. On the other, other hand, I think Clint Eastwood could make an excellent homage to True Grit (not a remake).

Having heard of the “new” Hawaii 5-0, I could nearly weep for the memory of Jack Lord. Tell me Hollywood, will the new McGarrett call one of his detectives “Fat Man?” Will Chinese agents play a major role as villains? Will it feature chases involving Mercury vehicles the length of tractor trailers? A chalkboard anywhere? And..and…will the new guy have hair as cool as McGarrett’s?

    I think not.

  8. “We’re not asking liberals to admit that Palin is smart; just that she’s smarter than them.”

I’m confused. Doesn’t CNN tell us who’s smart? And, who we should like? And, who we should hate? And what we should eat? Why would you question them, they’re on TV?

  9. I find that telling people (including liberals if you find any liberals that are actually people) that you like Palin because she makes liberals’ heads explode really shuts people up. I have a neighbor & and a lefty sister and some friends I used to work with who were always making jokes about Palin. They know I’m a tea-partier but I never said much about Palin. Well then one day I spoke up to them & said that I absolutely loved Sarah Palin because she makes liberals’ heads explode. And guess what? They’ve never ever mentioned Sarah again. Works like a charm.
Sarah Palin – exploding liberals, one head at a time.

  10. Will they film it in 3-D? Will there be dragons, trolls or UFOs? With the right motion-capture and CGI wizardry, they could have The Duke back in the saddle playing himself, and just need some impersonator to supply the voice. In a few years they’ll be able imitate the voices too and never need to hire a living actor again!
John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Randolf Scott, Lee Van Cleef, Jimmy Steward, Charlton Heston and Ronald Reagan (all in their prime) starring in “The Magnificent Seven”? I’d buy a ticket for that?
