So some people are saying maybe it’s unconstitutional that Obama went to war with Libya without consulting Congress. We still care about that sort of thing? I thought something being constitutional was sort of a vague concept now with no strict definition — like saying something is smurfy. Still, Joe Biden thinks Obama should be impeached over this — though there is a bit of a conflict of interest there since, if it happens, Biden will get a big pay raise out of the deal.
So, what do you think? Should Obama be impeached over this, or are you like me and just assumed the president had the authority to bomb wherever in the Middle East whenever he felt like it?

* The Chief of Naval operations says we’re not sure what the next step is.
* Our allies may possess highly competent militaries, but this is not July of 1914. Neither France nor Britain has the resources to sustain a long term commitment (And an air war in particular) in Libya
* Quacky Dictator Guy still outguns and outnumbers the rebels. He currently holds the tactical advantage and something of a strategic advantage on the ground.
* An air war can’t do much of anything here without people on the ground to guide the munitions.
No discussing matters with Congress, “What is the Constitution?”, no reliable allied militaries, hostile area, overstretched military, and a desperate need to get boots on the ground. There’s no reason someone as great as TheWon should have to fool with trivialities like congress or that irritating constitution thingy. Although if he did end up getting impeached I think Biden would be entertaining as all get out for about 6 months and then would have to be impeached too.
I support the impeachment of most politicians. Of course, the size and ripeness of the peach used should reflect the severity of the individual’s transgressions, e.g. the worse the deed, the larger and less ripe the peach.

One of the great things about the Constitution is that it’s pretty simple to understand. And no, it’s not constitutional for him to send our troops to war without congressional authorization, so he should absolutely be impeached. Right John Boehner? Boehner? John? …chirp, chirp, chirp.
