So Governor Walker went ahead and signed his union smashing bill. I don’t know why they didn’t just do that sooner.
REPUBLICANS: “We’re going to pass this bill.”
DEMOCRATS: “Oh yeah? We’ll just runaway!”
REPUBLICANS: “Cool. That means less whining as it happens.”
And I think the runaway Democrats are back, but no one really cares now. They’re pretty useless and inconsequential whatever state they’re in.
Isn’t it a big problem in our current system of government that these idiots have any say over spending our money? The fleebaggers ran away and went on vacation out of protest of not being able to bribe unions with our money; why do people like that get any access at all to our money? In Constitution 2.0 — the next Constitution we do — there has to be some strict limits on how much money these people can ever have to waste. And if they try to give all our money to education-blocking teachers unions, they will be hunted down by robots with laser eyes. The new Constitution will be in the future, BTW, and the future will have robots and lasers. And better government.
What happens when the Robots unionize?
There is currently a Mourning Dove outside my window. He is too stupid to tell between a real dove song and my own poor imitation.
We have reached a point where I trust that Mourning Dove to handle my money better than our elected representatives. This cannot be good.
While the fleebaggers were away the Republicans should have handed out a memo to all present members. Them memo would tell them that the day after the bill was passed that the new meeting place was going to be that new cigar store over on 7th Street. They’d all also have to sign a non-disclosure form so they were not allowed to tell anyone else. Then when the whiners got back they’d be sitting in the empty chamber asking….hey WTF? Meanwhile, the Republicans are passing bills to cut government left and right and enjoying a nice Cohiba.
Well, here is a thought we should start pushing, if you are in a public union, you don’t get to vote. You can keep your collective bargaining but you will be registered as a vote buyer and are not able to vote in any public election.
We could also push for an amendment limiting the commerce clause to “state” interactions….that would fix 99% of the government overstepping it bounds.
I think the wisdom in not passing the bill via special session was that it allowed ample rope for the fleeing Dems to hang themselves. They gave numerous interviews about taking a stand, evil Walker, etc etc and all the while Walker was biding his time. Then Walker actually met Miller (the lead fleebagger) at the WI/IL border and can’t get anywhere with him. Then after this happens, Miller sends out some memo to everyone saying he wants a meeting at the border, and Miller is then smacked down by Walker who’s like, “Dude, we already did that.” THEN, Walker ACTUALLY proposes to compromise a bunch of collective bargaining rights. Miller AGAIN goes on about it’s not good enough. So, Walker then finally goes ahead and calls for this special sesson and gets it done. What happens? The Dems scream like banshees about how Walker wouldn’t work with them, how he rammed it through, how he wouldn’t compromise at all. They actually still said all that.
Walker was wise because he laid out case after case after case to take away any argument these fleebaggers could have. They may scream about him not being willing to work with them, but that’s not true. There’s over 3 weeks of their outrageous, childish, STUPID behavior to back up Walker, and watching lefty commentators twist and squirm because they have no argument (and they know it) is a wonderful, entertaining phenomenon indeed.
Constitution 2.0 needs a hippie face punching section to help enforce the limiting access to our money amendment.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND P.S. I’ve been to a tea party rally (the one in DC last year in April) and NO ONE punched reporters, vandalized government property, compared anyone to Hitler, or committed fraud. What I did see was numerous people ensuring that I (being ready-to-go-at-any-second pregnant) had something to drink and someplace to sit at all times though none of them knew me from Eve, and everyone pitching in to make sure we left the grounds without a single piece of litter afterwards. I wonder how these teachers will look students in the face and demand academic honesty after trashing the capitol and falsely claiming to be sick.
So the next time the Dems run away, can we have them run away to Mexico? Then we can secure the border behind them and when they try to come back we’ll be like, “So long, suckers! Thanks for the help!” Then we can use the Mexicannon to launch their belongings after them and get on with smarter people in office.
Dear Runaway Democraps,
Please allow me share with you an historic statement made post-election by the man heralded as the greatest president to ever grace the oval office with his presence, Mr. Barrack Hussein Obama Soetoro and also by the House majority leader who worked so tirelessly to fulfill her promise of a “new tone” in political discourse and enact the most “transparent” congress in history…”We won!”
Sincerely,
Son of Bob
Wouldn’t they have to have demanded academic honesty before they went on their illegal strike? Speaking of which, how many of these protestors spent multiple days away from the school? Here if you call in sick three or more days in a row, you need a doctors note clearing you to return. How many if these teachers will have notes to allow them back?
Rayfan87 –
There were doctors at the protests writing the teachers notes to say that they were sick (due to stress) and therefore couldn’t go to work. Lovely, ey?
The fleebaggers label is great!
future will have robots and lasers. And better government.
Now there’s a low standard. We already have robots and lasers, and it would be a trick to have government that is worse than we have already, unless,
of course, we turn the whole country into San Francisco.
So, like umm who’s gonna like write the like umm like new Constitution. Will it like be sweet and like awesome and like have lot’s of cool stuff like gobs of free like money and stuff!
you know, a very strange thing is happening. Democrats are now saying that the Wisconsin state legislature is “no longer a Democracy”. Apparently according to liberals, a Democracy only counts if the democratically elected representatives are liberals and will serve the liberal agenda and the Republican minority can be told “hey, it’s what the people voted for”. If voters elect Republicans to the majority the rules of democracy no longer apply and the Democrats will take their ball and run home to hide. Fortunately, in some cases the Republican leadership can provide ample balls to keep playing.
Let’s see, Democrats in Wisconsin run away and hide in Illinois curled up in a motel room sucking their thumbs crying for their mommies to make the bad man go away. And now they complain about Democracy…ok…I got it!
In the future, in order to have good government, we need to take Dick the Butcher’s advise: “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers.” Then we can make Public Employee Unions illegal. (The REAL reason Leftards love JFK)
Hey, hey, hey, there, Live Free Or Die, let’s not get hasty. Let’s kill all the ACLU and “public service” lawyers, sure, and the ambulance-chasers and class action pukes, absolutely, but let’s leave some corporate defense lawyers and attorneys general and public prosecutors and stuff to make sure the professional victims, whiners and criminals get everything they deserve.
Carolyn, I have not been to a tea party rally, but I was at a precursor event in California, called the Tax Revolt, and everybody was positive and charming and upbeat, no violence at all, unless you count the purely symbolic chant of “Heads on a stick! Heads on a stick!” There were also beheadings in effigy of The Governator and the cowardly Republican slime who reneged on their “no new taxes” pledge, and the musical cry of “Liar! Thief! Whore!” when broken campaign promises were read out loud. Good solid family fun – I brought my eleven year-old, who thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing, and learned that even in California, despite the “mainstream” media’s alignment with the Left, there are still clear-sighted, principled people who will try to defend the ordinary taxpayer (and the next generation’s money, which is already being spent). My point is, the heated rhetoric was just that – rhetoric. There was not the slightest whiff or undercurrent of any potential for real violence at all. These were FAMILIES, not professional agitators, thugs and goons.
We SHOULD give them less access to our money,
and do it more often and vigorously .
Robots finally have a useful purpose.
According to the WSJ’s Best of the Web (3/14), the Wisconsin police union is threatening businesses — if they don’t lick their boots by St. Patty’s Day, they will be considered part of the evil Walker empire and be boycotted and God knows what else.
While we appreciate that you may need some time to consider this request, we ask for your response by March 17. In the event that you do not respond to this request by that date, we will assume that you stand with Governor Walker and against the teachers, nurses, police officers, fire fighters, and other dedicated public employees who serve our communities.
Neutrality is not an option. These people are a disgrace.
Threatening businesses can actually help the business. Remember what happened to that cheese steak shop in Philly that had the “English only” sign? When the non-English interests threatened him and went public to try to pressure the owner he told them to blow it out their ass. The result – more from business from people that supported his view than he ever got from the non-English ordering crowd.
These business owners could do he same. Tell them “yeah, we’re with Walker you parasite” and LET the police union go public with it. It’ll drive more customers to business than the police unions ever did. It’s called Capitalism-give it a shot. You might like it.
Crabby Old –
You went to John and Ken’s rally!? I was working in Anaheim that day and I really wanted to go! Awesome!
