I have a new New York Post column today on how simple doesn’t equal dumb and complex doesn’t equal smart.
“Still, we’re assured of how smart Obama is and that he’ll tell us his next genius idea as soon as he gets his tongue unstuck from the flagpole.”
So, when do all the Democrats go running away from him yelling, “The bell rang!”
Dammit, Frank. you made me spit my coffee back into my cup.
as the dem economists say, “two plus two equals five for any sufficiently large value of two.”
Republicans simply won’t accept the only sensible solution. Reactionary conservative heat-deniers would first deny that the stove is hot and then demand that everyone put their eyeballs and tongues on the hot stove. And you know what? The same radical conservatives who told you to put your eyeball on the hot stove would also deny health care to folks who were blinded by a hot stove.
I’ve got a letter here from a 78-year old woman, Mrs. Martha Maple, who is now blind in one eye because she put here eyeball on a hot stove but couldn’t afford a transplant after she was blinded. I’ve got another letter from Mrs Agnes Aguilar who has to gum her food now because here dentures fell out and melted on the stove while she had her tongue on it.
Now we can go ahead and do what the Republicans want us to do, or we can choose universally accepted science and test our hot stoves with our fingers.
As long as nobody buys him a daisy Red Ryder BB gun.
Simply an outstanding Op-Ed piece, Frank.
Frank J, you’re like a combination of George Carlin and Thomas Sowell.
At Iowa State in front of overflow crowd, Paul stays focused on Bush’s opportunism after 9/11 to advance communism
Ron Paul: “The Patriot Act Was Written Many, Many Years Before 9/11 [And The Attacks Simply Provided] An Opportunity
Way to stay on topic, there, Mel.
Oh, wait. That was satire, wasn’t it? You were pretending to be one of those nutcase Ron Paul supporters who posts a comment completely off-topic. And I fell for it.
Oh, man, you played to crazy nut-bag role perfect. You got me. That was a good one.
Look out, HIGH PRAISE from Steve coming at ya, Frank!
Anybody else here a little concerned that Frank could get gobs of money and a top job in the administration if he put his mind to it? Frank would make a brilliant criminal mastermind, is my point. Thank God he’s on our side.
So…there IS a difference between simple s**t and dumb a$$.
That’s why Obama wants to cut military spending. He’s afraid someone will put an eye out!
….And here is something also off topic and twice as frightening as anything Ron Paul could say or do. http://www.congressmanwithguts.com/?track=googseo

That’s why I’m happy to be on the right. Our batsh*t crazy folks are still wa-a-a-a-a-y better than the left’s batsh*t crazy folks.
His whole domestic policy seems to function on triple dog dares from Soros.
So this is what rarified air is like. I was born and raised in California. The smug clogged reminants of a pioneer culture is about all that’s left. Instead of gold I mine for truth and have lost many so-called friends in idealogic caveins. This is a glory hole of ideas. Thanks for the nuggets.
Excellent. People understand that when a celebrity runs around naked or gets arrested for drunken stupidity that he’s desperate to get into the headlines. They don’t understand that academics, artists, and writers other than FJF know that to get noticed they have to also act crazy: talk about “trickle up” economics and “pump priming,” promote the cleansing action of violence, celebrate perversion of every stripe. Saying something normal will never get you rich, just because it’s true.
And haven’t the left’s recent economic plans basically been a lot of convoluted arguments that two plus two equals five?
When you consider the tremendous damage liberals do when in charge it would seems that for them two plus two equals a very large negative number.
In fairness to Obama, someone DID triple dog dare him.
There’s a link on your NYP page that says “Photo Gallery: Big Beasts.” I read it right the second time.
Crusty:
Can you send me the link to the first time you read it?
