Be Like Fluke: Whine and Vote for Obama

So Sandra Fluke, made famous for being an adult woman incapable of purchasing her own contraception, is going to be campaigning with Obama. How is that going to work? I guess she’s going to appear on stage with him and say, “Tee hee. I’m just a girl. I don’t know how to use money; thanks for trampling the Bill of Rights to force other people to buy me contraception!” So what is it now, we can’t have freedom of religion because some women are incapable of taking care of themselves? And this is feminism somehow?

Still, she does seem like a fitting mascot for the Democrats: a whiny dependent.

  1. In defense of Sandra, I will state that Rush was wrong to call her a ‘slut’. I have known some sluts in my lifetime, and every one of them knew the price of birth control. Sandra has no idea how much birth control costs. Ergo, she cannot be a slut.

  2. Other things Sandra Fluke needs to buy with public support:

    * A Fluke™ multimeter. You can never have enough test equipment.
    * Spare Hõ-Ha-O™ rings for higher compression engines.
    * VJJ™ injector cleaner for sparkling performance.
    * HighTane™ high octane fuel additive to eliminate that flukey clustered engine stuttering
    * OneTerm™ fuel stabilizer for winterizing your injected engine after November.

    Total cost: $3,000.00

  3. I can see the posters for the campaing appearances: “Come and watch the President get Fluked!”

Are they going to have to hire someone to read the notes for her? She doesn’t know how to budget for rubbers, I don’t think that organizing note cards is within her skill set.

  4. I don’t get democrats. If they use contraception, how are they supposed to have an abortion? if they hate men, why do they need contraception? If they don’t have an abortion, they can’t be a member of galquida. If they can’t belong to galquida, then they are moral like Sarah Palin, which is inherently evil. Therefore if they are not a homosexual woman, aren’t they evil and don’t deserve contraception and abortions?

Dang for a minute there, I sounded like one of them. *shudder*

  5. Also offered without comment as addendum to #6:

Fluke: a barb or barbed head; a whale’s tail, or the two parts of the end; a person easily duped.

    From Webster’s NWD-College Edition

  6. So what is it now, we can’t have freedom of religion because some women are incapable of taking care of themselves? And this is feminism somehow?

Take it from somebody who was old enough to be paying attention when “feminism” got started; it makes about as much sense as anything else that feminists have wanted.
